From the error shown, it looks like a database problem: it's possible that the database is a separate VM but since this is a sort-of dedicated server (probably a virtual one ... but that's a guess!), so it can support ancient and generally unsupported versions of packages, I'd expect the DB server t...

Yes ... been absent for a while with all sorts of things, 3Wells having taken rather ill. But she's recovering now and things are slowly getting back to normal.
