I'm glad if you are sleeping well. The body has a better chance to repair itself. I had written a long post yesterday and lost it all. Really frustrating because it happens in the middle of a word.

Don't things turn slowly...?

sEap Lady seen today. She proposes:
Getting a draft letter to me today For the Health Ctr to answer Several questions (she says that one of them is to ask how they are Helping their client, i.e., me), and reminding them that they must reply in 30 days.

She hopes to get the draft to me, and the Final letter in Recorded delivery out by Friday.

After ten days if she gets no reply She, Me, and GP's Manager will meet. she will remind them of the thirty day legal matters from 30 days of the Rec Delivery docket.

I'm glad things are moving again. Good luck with that.

My handyman is going to look at installing my ramp, and at least it will be in position before I have my op. The Gardener says if there is a delay, he'll try and help.

Didn't know of Ramp. - external presumably - Timber of brick and concrete?

Timber mostly I believe, though I did stress that it must be non slip. Decking is very treacherous in wet weather.

The lad who made it put all the parts on my drive, covered with a tarpaulin, then went 'off sick' just after I gave him some money.

Odd that, going off ill, just with a weight of monies in his pocket.
Can one still get "anti-slip"? Remember NHS having to coat their Kitchen Floors - especially input from wet road to tiled Veg Store

I have some stick on non-slip patches from when I thought the shower tray would need them. Or I might be able to find some chicken wire or hessian to stick on. They put chicken wire on wooden bridges.

Yes, but think about you or your dawg about damaging Chickenwire by skidding on it, and skidding flesh meeting wire... Hesian might be better.

Easier to get purchase on the surface if the diamonds are small.

I was sitting here, minding my own business, (Oh yes I was) ... and a knock at my door. Council bod... First he wanted my address (Because the council are trying to change the housenumbers), Then He was asking about all the Junk dumped here .. It was ME who complained in the first place. I Certainly have no objection to him bringing a vehicle in to collect the junk, But made it clear that I wasn't going to pay for the ill-mannered junk leavers.
I'm now pondering on whether it was My complaints that brought him here, or the Local Counciller (Who visted me on legal matters re retaining my address) who was talking of a "Housekeeping gang", ..or if it was The Estate Manager doing her own patrol re the rented houses...
Not certain where to find her since the Road/housenumber changes. but I'll chase her up, if we still have one.

If they are going to give you your own number it's progress of a kind.

Never mind who they are responding to, as long as they clean up and don't imagine you will pay for someone else's junk. If they try, just weep. It's always worked for me.

Went into Town Centre. The sky fell in ...
Well not exactly the sky, but the Roof over the Pavement. Terrific BANG: Woman at hole-in-the-wall screamed. I was outside the catchment area.
Passed by later, six council bods put some rails around the wreckage with bits of tape joining the too-small bits of railings, but all blown away. Bank closed their doors (I guess their customers had to stagger over the wreckage) Woman seemed to have also got her money and climbed over the wreckage avoiding the broken window. Six council blokes looking important but doing nothing.
WHSmith staff tending to crying people on a bench, but nobody actually doing anything (apart from taking Photys).

But of course ... isn't this the "modern way", nothing can actually have happened unless it's been posted to "soshul medja"?

Yup, Jusy that.
Local paper reported One Injury - and an Ambulance was sent for an hour after the event - Presumably this was the woman sitting on a bench, crying, tended by staff from newsagent.
