Wotcha Rod. Lovely to see you in here. I've not that long been up. I'm fine, but took a lazy morning reading a book. Victory by Cynthia Harrod Eagles. One of a long series about a family through history. This one is wound around Trafalgar. When it arrived on request from the library, it turned out to be a large print version so it's quite thick. Being retired, is quite fun, when I'm not rushing about I can stay in bed and read.

What happened to Leech Gatherer? I miss the polar bears - even though they are cold climate animals that I rarely come across in my warm African river.

Me and 3Wells about to head into the adjacent county (Galway) for a rally, so a slow start but a high-speed day tomorrow. The Polar Bear promises to pop in now and then to say Hi, but probably as a "guest", being shy and retiring ;-)

If you go in disguise, you might get away with it. If I see two polar bears in the woods, I'll make a big exception to my normal procedure and make tea. Maybe an orange jelly with mandarin segments in it.

I never thought of taking tea, a Kettle or the business-end of a plugged in and very long three-core-cable, or Manderi.... Oh blast, that reminds me Got to fit a length of cable - Great big Ginger cat ate through the Previous one - my slippery mind - I moved from Kettle Cable to Vacuum cable - perhaps I'd better have a lay-down..

There's the phenomenon at the other end of the hols known as "exam weather" - the skies clear, the sun comes out, the temperature soars, and brains fizzle!

I wish my brain would stop Fizzling.. Ancient School reports have come to the surface in my "De-clutter" programme.

I took mine down the garden and burnt the lot one day in my thirties. I had read them again and realised I believed they were still true. I never looked back after that and reached the dizzy heights of mediocrity thereafter.
