Well, it's kind of "unsettled" here in the Wild West ... sun one side of the house, showers the other! And every sign that it's going to continue in that vein, at least for the next few days (the ultra-long-range 3-day forecast).

Wishing everyone at least the occasional spell of summer weather

I went to the monthly brunch at the club, then on to Porlock. It rained a bit as I approached Minehead on the way, but when I got back, we had clearly had some rain. I didn't get wet though. And I certainly didn't need a coat.

Oh? Didn't realize that there were Two Augusts.. Theres a joke there somewhere about making the best of two worlds.

Yup, Mixed weather here too. Local Newspapers and Radio telling me that It wet/raining/thundering, or threatening to rain - but its Just Hot and Sultry.
