Thinks: Why are Pirates all with extreme West Country Accents? The most common source of Mariners is The Thames, Liverpool, Southampton. (yes I know theres some from Bristol and Swansea).

Well... My Grandad was so poor that He couldn't find a hoop to get him to work, so He had to walk all the way (From Bradford) to London to find work to buy a hoop.
